What is Campus Point?

It’s an apartment community designed near Illinois State University and across the street from Heartland Community College — in a convenient location and at attractive rates. Campus Point features spacious 1 to 4 bedroom well-furnished apartments, flat-panel TV, updated kitchens and more. All in an open setting just minutes from campus.

Is Campus Point part of ISU or HCC?

What is included in the rate?

Residents at Campus Point pay a flat rate that includes:

  • Furniture package, including leather-style living room and full-size bed
  • High-speed Internet
  • Trash removal
  • Free on-site laundry
  • 24-hour on-site management
  • Community features — pool, workout room, etc.

Are the apartments furnished?

Yes, all apartments include a complete set of furniture, including full-size beds, dressers, desks, leather-style sofa and armchair, coffee table and counter stools. To see a sample of the furniture and other finishes, please visit our model apartment.

When do the contracts start and end?

Available terms are:
August 18, 2023 to July 31, 2024 (12 installments)
August 18, 2023 to June 30, 2024 (11 installments)
August 18, 2023 to May 15, 2024 (10 installments)
August 18, 2023 to December 20, 2023 (5 installments)

Is a co-signer or financial guaranty required?

Within 7 days after a Housing Agreement is signed, residents lacking sufficient verifiable income will be required to do one of two things: provide a qualifying guarantor, or pre-pay the final 2 installments.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes. Residents can pay online 24 hours per day, by credit card or ACH electronic checking. Campus Point also offers automatic payment by either credit card or checking account — just fill out one page, one time and payments will be made automatically. Convenience fees apply for credit card and debit card payments.

Will my financial aid cover charges at Campus Point?

Your living costs at Campus Point can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at Campus Point. Regular payment deadlines will continue to apply.

What kind of safety and security are provided?

Campus Point offers private locking apartment entrances, plus locking bedroom doors. Community courtesy patrols are provided at select times, plus security cameras are located in certain areas. Management staff are also on-site 24×7 and can be reached by a 24-hour phone number.

What are the policies on pets, smoking and guests?

Campus Point is a pet-friendly community in designated areas. Campus Point is a smoke-free community in all indoor and adjacent spaces. Guests are welcome at all times, subject to the consent of apartment-mates and security considerations. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on the number of days and guests.

Can I park my vehicle at Campus Point?

Campus Point offers free parking for all residents. Limited free guest parking is available as well.

What other transportation options will I have?

A Connect Transit Yellow Route bus stop is nearby for transportation to Illinois State University and back, with service 6:16am to 2:30am weekdays and 7am to 2:30am weekends. It’s as little as 11 minutes from campus. Or bike or drive to the ISU campus or Bloomington in minutes. And just go right across Raab Road to Heartland Community College.
